Stroke in brain: causes, symptoms and treatment

Special stroke symptoms: sudden development of a headache, dizziness, nausea, "fly", and tinnitus, and sometimes without all these symptoms, the person feels a sudden weakness in the limbs, loss of sensation, speech disorders ("tongue-tied"), face warp, impaired coordination of movements.

Conceptually, strokes are classified as a state of lack of blood supply, ischemia, usually associated with impaired blood flow to certain areas of the brain; happens at night or early in the morning, most common reason - a blood clot in the vessels of the brain (on the background of atherosclerosis, cholesterol, diabetes), or spasms. In any case, the "starving" brain tissue without oxygen and nutrients refuses to perform its functions.

Another variant - the excess, or hemorrhage (bleeding in the brain); develops during the day, usually after the psycho-emotional and physical overload. In this situation, the vessel wall is torn and blood fills the brain tissue that induced by various abnormalities. The worst case is that often it ends in death or requires surgical treatment.

In any case, we must remember - if the described symptoms appear, you should immediately seek medical attention. Sometimes, there are chances that it is transient ischemic attack (prestroke), and if you have time to get into the "therapeutic window", you avoid the worst.
